What is the Academy about?

"Tools to unleash human potential."

The Bluestorm Academy was setup by Jay Best after actively seeking out training resources regarding memory, speed reading and effectiveness for the high performing teams he was lucky enough to lead.

"We worked out that by developing our creativity, thinking skills, memory and speed reading, our small team was outperforming teams up to 8 times our size! And winning awards along the way."

By the time he was 9 years old, Jay had developed a reading age of an 18 years old and has been reading and learning all that he could regarding memory, peak performance, body language, motivation and leadership ever since.

Jay left home at 15, and has been lucky enough to lead teams very early on. He has managed teams of up to 60 for companies such as General Motors, Chevron Texaco, Franklin Covey (of 7 Habits of Highly effective people fame) as well as a number of NZ Internet and Telco providers (including Telecom New Zealand).
